We have been operational since November 1, 2007 and we would like to take this opportunity to introduce Betty Cowan Research and Innovation Centre (BCRIC) to you. BCRIC is a new venture by the Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). The centre was formed based on a vision for a centre of excellence where research ideas/activities and innovative approaches could be included and encouraged amongst the CMCH faculty and students. The centre was started by a generous educational grant from the Canadian-Vellore Ludhiana Committee (Canada) and Friends of Ludhiana (UK). The centre reports its activities to the Principal of Medical College. The activity of the centre is ably supported by a core committee.
We are located in Ludhiana, Punjab, INDIA. In 2008, CMCH was ranked the top 5% from amongst 400 Medical Colleges in India.
