Title: "Biosafety and Biosafety Cabinets"

Seminar will cover “Biosafety and Biosafety Cabinets” and will give an overview of international norms (NIH and CDC) when working with hazardous samples.

Objective:

This seminar has been organized with several objectives:

1. As an awareness seminar on general biosafety
2. To introduce to the CMCH clinicians, nurses, and support staff about the latest technologies in the market (biosafety cabinets and hoods)
3. To understand safety at 3 levels: sample, staff and environment

Sessions 1:

8:00 to 9:00 am - For the clinicians.

Session 2:

9:30 to 10:30 am - For nurses and para-medical staff/technicians.
